First Aid at Work - 4 Day

This four day course is designed for staff who require training to enable them to have an extensive knowledge of First Aid practices.

Objectives:

• How to manage an incident
• How to carry out primary and secondary assessments, to deal with life threatening emergencies and to administer the latest first aid techniques.

Course Content:

• The Emergency First Response First Aid at Work (Great Britain) course is a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved first aid course for training in first aid for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This programme meets the statutory needs of employers in England, Scotland and Wales needing at least one First Aider on the premises.

This course will include:

• Group discussions
• Multi-choice questionnaire and two practical assessments

On completion of the course a certificate and qualification card will be awarded to each successful staff member.
